Class Descriptions

Flow & Restore

Studios:

  • Prana Yoga

This style of yoga is the combination of vinyasa and yin yoga - the duality of our energy.

The first half of class is a power, strength, mobility, flow based practice (vinyasa) that offers the body to release energy through movement that creates heat within the body. Be prepared to sweat.

The second half of class is a cooling practice (yin) that offers the opportunity for the body, mind, & spirit to find stillness and ease through longer held postures after the heat building flow. The yin postures are held between 2-3 minutes.

Flow & Restore is an empowering combination of strength and ease - an opportunity to discover new experiences within your practice through power and stillness.

Hot Dynamic Flow

Studios:

  • Prana Studio

This yoga practice is a hot, power flow based class. You will go through Sun Salutations, Standing Postures, Backbends, and Inversions.

Hot Dynamic Flow is a fun and exciting way to practice yoga. Be prepared to sweat, so bring a towel and water. Prop use is always offered and variations of each posture are given as well to make it more accessible.

Note: This practice is not suitable for beginners or those who are sensitive to hot practices.

Slow Flow

Studios:

  • Prana Yoga

  • Soul Society Yoga

This yoga practice is a warm flow based class, but with time to truly focus on your breath, get into each posture, and find your rhythm.

Slow Flow is a nice beginner-friendly flow based class where you move and warm up your body, so sweating does happen at times. Prop use is always offered!

Slow Flow provides space for you to create space and ease within your body, mind, and spirit through a warming practice.

Note: This practice has vinyasa offerings (chaturanga, up-dogs, and down-dogs), but they are always optional and offered far less than Vinyasa Yoga.

Vinyasa Flow

Studios:

  • Soul Society Yoga

  • True Moon Yoga

This practice is a warm building flow practice. It can be a medium to fast-paced class. Each movement is connected with breath. For those who love to do Chaturangas, this class will be your friend!

Vinyasa Flow will naturally create heat within the body, so be prepared to sweat. Bring a towel and water.

Prop use is always offered and variations of each posture are given as well to make it more accessible.

This practice will create space for stabilization, strength, and stretching within the mind, body, and spirit.

Note: This practice is not suitable for beginners or those who are sensitive to hot practices.
